Costa Deliziosa will visit 48 ports in 34 countries when it operates Costa Cruises' 128-day world voyage starting in late 2025.

Departing Nov. 21 from Trieste, Italy, the ship will sail through the Mediterranean and cross the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. Passengers will transit the Panama Canal, visit Easter Island and sail Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

Unique timing

'Costa’s world cruise is unique in that it begins before the holidays so guests get to usher in the new year and continue on their travels around the world in one seamless voyage,' said Ruben Perez, GM for Costa Cruises North America.

Costa Deliziosa will cruise across the Mediterranean to Marseilles and Barcelona, then on to the Canary Islands by way of Casablanca, Morocco. After crossing the Atlantic to Barbados, the ship transits the Panama Canal before sailing down South America's Pacific Coast and making its way to Easter Island.

During the South Pacific crossing, passengers will ring in the new year before visiting the Pitcairn Islands and French Polynesia en route to Sydney. Costa Deliziosa continues up the east coast of Australia to Papua New Guinea and on to Japan, before heading to South Korea and Taiwan. The ship traverses the South China Sea to China, Vietnam and Singapore, heading west to Sri Lanka and India.

Costa Deliziosa then sails across the Arabian Sea, through the Suez Canal to Greece, before steering north to Croatia and Italy, arriving back in Trieste on March 28, 2026.

Eight overnight calls

Overnight calls are planned in Manta (Ecuador) San Antonio (for Santiago, Chile), Easter Island, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai. Late-night departures are scheduled in Casablanca, Colón (Panama), Salalah (Oman) and Aqaba (Jordan).

World cruise events and destination lectures, themed parties and shows dedicated to the many countries on the itinerary are planned. The menus will incorporate dishes from the destinations visited.

Starting fare $19,089

Costa North America is promoting a starting fare of $19,089 per person, double occupancy. Taxes, port fees and gratuities are additional.
